Earn community service credit, or just come out to help your community while having fun! There are so many ways you can apply your ideas, abilities and muscle to improve housing for our clients. RTMC offers custom-designed programs for youth that provide a meaningful and hands-on experience for improving the homes and lives of our neighbors in need. Students must be at least 14 years old, and groups should consist of 15-20 students.

Elevate with RTMC

Elevate is a year-round program for high school students who are interested in spending their time building an accessibility ramp for a lower-income homeowner with disabilities. Work is supervised by a professional carpenter or handyman and preformed over the course of two to three days. Through the site planning, teamwork and the use of carpentry materials, students develop leadership and communication skills while contributing to local communities.

In 2015, RTMC is offering two, 3-day sessions of Elevate: one in the summer and one in the fall. Each session will provide participants the opportunity to earn up to 30 community service hours on the project.

National Rebuilding Day Weekend

Held every April at Rebuilding Together affiliates across the nation.  Volunteers from each region will join together to provide life-saving and critical home repairs for vulnerable families in need. The work is done at no cost to recipient families, and funds are raised through sponsorships, donations, and in-kind gifts of materials and labor. National Rebuilding Day comes to life when schools and student groups mobilize to make an impact!
